Guide students through the museum at your own pace, with supplementary materials available for grades 6-12.
Teachers interested in a self-guided tour may request a free planning pass when registering for a tour. This offer applies only to teachers scheduling self-guided tours.

Title I Cost: Student admission is free and one required chaperone is admitted free per 5 students
Non-Title I Cost: Student admission is $10.50 per student and one required chaperone is admitted free per 5 students
All self-guided groups must register at least three weeks in advance to assure availability and receive our group rate of $10.50 per student.

Atlanta History Center is open 9:00am-4:00pm Tuesday-Sunday. Last entry is admitted at 3pm.
*We recommend groups to spend at least 2-2 ½ hours at the museum to comfortably explore the exhibits, Historic Houses, and gardens.
Registration is required three weeks in advance to receive the school discount.
Bookings before 12pm – the maximum group size is 100 students.
Bookings after 12pm – there is no group size limit, so long as there are enough chaperones*.

A non-refundable $50 deposit is due 14 days after confirmation is received.
Full payment is due 3 weeks prior to the date of your visit to guarantee your reservation for all tours. If booking less than 3 weeks in advance, full payment is due upon booking.
Any updates to your student count must be made before final payment is due. Refunds are not available if the number of students has changed. Added fees for specialty tours, additional experiences, etc. are due as well.
Your payment is not refundable if you cancel your school tour and do not reschedule.
To reschedule your tour, you must notify Atlanta History Center at least 3 days in advance of your tour date. Your payment can be applied towards your new date. There is a $25 administrative fee to reschedule your tour.
