Improve your writing skills this summer using the resources available at the exhibits, historic buildings and gardens of the Atlanta History Center. We’ll apply research skills that can help both your informative and creative writing. Become a pro at bringing characters and events to life on the page!
Highlights of the camp can include:
- Activities with an Archives expert on primary and secondary sources
- Getting inspired by the AHC campus to develop fictional characters, stories, poetry, and more
- Exploring non-fiction historical writing in our exhibits to create your own “museum”
- Playing writing games and exercises, and keeping a journal to continue your writing journey
