Each year, the Olmsted Plein Air Invitational brings world class and award-winning plein air artists to create unique art throughout Atlanta using the city’s landscape as their inspiration. The 9th Annual Olmsted Plein Air Invitational features 27 of America’s Masters of Plein Air. Spend the day getting to know the Artists while they paint Goizueta Gardens at Atlanta History Center from the Artists’ point of view. On April 19th, the artists will visit Atlanta History Center and capture the many dimensions of Goizueta Gardens through their work. In Allen Atrium, visitors can also view the completed works and works created previously during the week.
This event is included with the cost of admission to Atlanta History Center.
Artists will offer paintings for sale off of their easles, and a PopUp Gallery will showcase paintings created on the grounds of Atlanta History Center. Paintings will be available for purchase.
