Guided Bird Walk for Georgia Bird Fest

Gardens
Sunday, Apr 7 2024 @ 9am - 11am

Join an expert guide from Birds Georgia for a walk through this 33-acre birding hotspot. A member of the Gardens team will point out major collections and gardens as you go through the site – from the 1860s farm, 1920s Swan House and formal gardens, preserved Piedmont forest, the native plant gardens and more. Whether this is your first time using binoculars or you are a seasoned pro, we hope to see you there! Open to birders of all levels and families with children over 10.

Please note that no dogs are allowed. The walks will cover one to two miles of mild hiking terrain, including mulched and gravel paths and some stairs. Hiking shoes, insect repellant, sunscreen and water are recommended; bring binoculars if you have some.

Meet at the main entrance Atrium to receive your wristband. This tour is limited to 12 participants.

Ticket cost is $35 and includes admission to Atlanta History Center.

This event is hosted by Atlanta History Center in partnership with Birds Georgia.
