Homeschool Day: WWI

The Atlanta History Center offers special programs for homeschool students and their families. During these day-long programs, explore a different subject through engaging hands-on experiences, performances, historic simulations, and a variety of activities designed for kids from toddler to teen.

One hundred years ago, U.S. troops landed in France, turning the Great War into a world war. In this Homeschool Day program, learn about the causes and consequences of World War I and see the war through the eyes of the men and women who lived it. Fight in the trenches, protest in Russia, make peace in Versailles, and experience “the war to end all wars.”

Admission to Homeschool Days is $8.50 nonmembers; $6.50 children of members; and free for adult members. Discounted rates are available for groups with 10 or more children. For more information, or to make group reservations, please call 404.814.4018 or email
