Celebrate the holidays on Smith Farm—watch fruit being candied and make your own ornament! Demos will be held on the 22nd, 23rd, 27th, 29th, and 30th of December.
Learn more about Smith FarmDuring 19th century, one of the holiday decorations adorning Christmas trees was candied fruit. Fruit was candied for preservation and shipped by train across the country. Come watch as we make a batch of candied fruit in the Smith Farm kitchen.
Create your own clay ornament to take home. Georgia is known for its red clay and is home to a rich history of pottery dating back centuries. Participate in this tradition on Smith Farm and bring home piece of history!

The Haverty family of Atlanta exemplified the mid-20th century trend of personalized cards. Today, Christmas cards, more diverse and accessible, continue to connect loved ones during the holidays.
