Atlanta History Center is a leader in training and mentoring young museum professionals. Our internship program reveals the inner-workings of the museum, providing students with the opportunity to contribute to our mission.
Ready to grow, learn, and explore? Check back in February for our Summer Internships!
Internships at the Atlanta History Center offer students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in areas such as museum studies, education, public programs, archives, horticulture, development, and more. Our internships are held during three sessions—spring, summer, and fall—and are designed to align with the majority of academic calendars.
Students currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, as well as recent graduates (within the past twelve months), are eligible to apply. We’re looking for motivated individuals who demonstrate strong academic performance and a clear interest in the program or department to which they are applying.
