Atlanta History Center’s Goizueta Gardens is the first botanical garden in the Southeast to plant in the New Perennial Movement in a major way.
Our Entrance Gardens feature over 15,000 perennials and are designed by Atlanta History Center’s Vice President of Living Collections, Sarah Carter. The Entrance Gardens are based on the New Perennial Movement and include sweeping layers of grasses and flowering perennials that seek to redefine traditional aesthetics of a garden and reestablish our connection to nature. Tour the Entrance Gardens; see beautiful and underutilized native plant species; and learn about the ecological horticulture practices that keep this garden healthy and support the surrounding environment. This tour is led by Cameron Wethern, Senior Horticulturist of the Entrance Gardens.
Tour is only offered Tuesday through Thursday between 9:00am—1:00pm.
Max group size is 20, entirely outside, all temperatures.
