Young learners will explore Atlanta’s growing arenas, focusing on changes over time. Through maps, hands-on activities, and STEM-based learning, little ones will use teamwork, critical thinking skills, and their imaginations to create an arena all their own.
Standards Addressed
Pre-K
- CD-SS5: The child will understand the passage of time and how events are related.
Kindergarten
- SSKH3: Correctly use words and phrases related to chronology and time. (Note: These elements should be integrated into discussions about historical events and figures.)
1st Grade
- SS1E1: Identify goods that people make and services that people provide for each other.
2nd Grade
- S2E3b: Construct an explanation of the causes and effects of a change to the environment in your community.
