Head outside the museum and over to the 19th-century Smith Farm to meet our flock of heritage-breed sheep and goats. Brett Bannor, Manager of Animal Collections, will demonstrate how agile they can be, hopping up on a barrel and following instructions in hopes of earning a special peanut treat. Learn about their daily routines and the distinct personalities of Daisy, Maribelle, Hercules, and our goats, Claud and Dorothy.

If you’d like Brett to sign his book, American Sheep: A Cultural History (available in our gift shop), you’re welcome to bring it along. Capacity is limited, reserve your spot now!

This event is included with the cost of admission. To reserve your spot, add your general admission tickets to your cart. You will then be prompted to register for Greet the Sheep.
