Little Readers Big Authors is included with the cost of admission. To reserve your spot, add your general admission tickets to your cart. You will then be prompted to register for Little Readers Big Authors

Join us in the museum gift shop from 10:00am-1:00pm for a story time with the authors! Authors Rosalind and Maggie Bunn will be onsite for a story time, book signing, and a family friendly craft.

Please note, this event offers three separate reading times at 10:00am, 11:00am, and 12:00pm. Each reading has a 45 minute duration.

Meet the Authors

Rosalind Bunn is an author of twelve children’s picture books for ages three to eight. She also coauthored Once Upon A… Zoo and Beau’s Bayou Treasure with her daughter, Maggie.  They are now the proud authors of a new series published by Pelican Publishing, an imprint of Arcadia, featuring All Aboard, GeorgiaAll Aboard, Louisiana, All Aboard, Tennessee, All Aboard, Florida, and All Aboard, Alabama. Once Upon A…Zoo, their first title together, has been released and is available in bookstores. Their holiday title, The Naughty List, illustrated by Keller Pyle will be available Fall 2026.

Maggie and Rosalind both live in Marietta, Georgia, and enjoy visiting bookstores and sharing their stories.


Kelly Young-Silverman is a Midwestern girl living in the South who loves to tell stories. Her work ranges from screenplays and stage plays to children’s stories and young adult novels. In 2009, Kelly co-founded Cakebaby Productions with her husband, actor/filmmaker, David Marshall Silverman. Through Cakebaby, Kelly and David have written, directed and produced several award-winning short films, and have had their work screened nationally at prestigious festivals including The Atlanta Film Festival, Palm Springs International ShortFest, Dances With Films, and DC Shorts.

Kelly lives in Marietta, GA with her husband, daughter, two cats and dog. She teaches at the Lovett School in Atlanta. Go Lions!
