School Tour Agreement*

• Additional discounts, memberships, guest passes, coupons, etc. are not valid in combination with the virtual tour rate.
• Teachers are encouraged to complete a 10–15-minute technology prep session. This will be scheduled and administered up to one week before the virtual tour to troubleshoot unforeseen connectivity issues. Teachers who opt out of the pre-scheduled technology prep session will forfeit their refund for tech user issues during the virtual tour.
• If a different person is leading the group on the tour date, it is of utmost importance that this person is aware of what tour arrangements have been made. The contact person is responsible for sharing all information with other members of the group.
• A $50 deposit is due 14 days after receiving confirmation. Full payment is due 3 weeks in advance of the scheduled tour date. Any updates to your student count must be made before payment is due. Refunds are not available if the number of students has changed.
• Payment in full is due by pre-collected check or credit card. Please make checks payable to Atlanta History Center. Payment must be made as one transaction. Paying separately per group member is not permitted. In this case, you will not receive the discounted group rate.
• If booking less than 3 weeks in advance, full payment is due upon booking.
• Please choose tour dates carefully. There is a $25 administrative fee should you need to reschedule your tour.
• Payment is non-refundable if you cancel your virtual school tour and do not reschedule within the 3 days of your original date. Payments are refunded only in the case of school closures.
• The Atlanta History Center’s Flipgrid account is an option for teachers and students to use after their tour experience. Teachers understand that Flipgrid is public domain and an educational source, which is viewable by the public.
• The Atlanta History Center has the right to end any virtual experience if a disruption continues after a warning.
• Recording any AHC virtual school tour is prohibited.
• Teachers must be in attendance throughout the entire virtual tour.
