The Atlanta History Center is a leader in training and mentoring young museum professionals. Projects reveal the inner-workings of a non-profit museum, providing interns the opportunity to contribute to the mission of the Atlanta History Center in a meaningful way. The Atlanta History Center provides an ideal learning environment for students to explore their interests relating to the museum field and to develop critical professional skills.
Internships are held during three sessions throughout the year— Summer, Fall, and Spring— in order to best align with university and other schooling schedules. Please refer to the internship opportunities to view the department offerings for each session. Students pursuing their undergraduate degree, graduate students, and recent graduates (within the last twelve months) are eligible to apply for an internship at the Atlanta History Center. Prospective interns are students who have demonstrated superior academic ability and have professional goals that are in alignment with the programs offered at the Atlanta History Center. Check out the links below to see what internships are available for the upcoming Fall session.
Temporary internship positions are often created for new, large projects at Atlanta History Center. Email email@example.com with any questions concerning internships at the Atlanta History Center.
