Oakland City & Bush Mountain History Driving Tour

You are invited on a driving tour that explores historic and contemporary sites in Oakland City and Bush Mountain. This tour has been co-curated by the following program partners: the Bush Mountain Neighborhood Association, the Oakland City Community Organization, the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, and the Atlanta History Center.

Guests will be invited to sign up for a time slot of either 11:00am, 11:15am, 11:30am. When you arrive at check-in, you will be given a package of tour materials and additional instructions.

Please note that there will be 3 performances along the route, where participants will be invited to roll the windows down or get out of the car (following social distance protocols) to view the performances. Performance times and locations are below:

Meet Atlanta’s First Black City Councilman, William Finch Monologue
Performance times: 11:45am, 12:00pm, 12:15pm
Location: William Finch Elementary School
