Homeschool Day: December Stories

Homeschool Day: December Stories

From the birth of Beethoven, to the signing of the Treaty of Paris, to the end of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, December is full of multiple anniversaries and historical events outside of the holiday season. This month, we invite you to look a little deeper as we explore a significant event that happened on each of the 31 days in December. Engage with history in a different way and learn about people and events that changed our world.

Atlanta History Center offers special programs for homeschool students and their families. During these day-long programs, explore a different subject through engaging hands-on experiences, performances, historic simulations, and a variety of activities designed for kids from toddler to teen.

Tickets are $8.50 for not-yet members, free for adult members, and $6.50 for children of members.

Discounted rates are available for groups with ten or more children.
