This is a virtual talk!

Join the New-York Historical Society to learn more about their Women & the American Story curriculum, a FREE online resource that provides teachers and students with information about the myriad and often critical roles women played in shaping United States history. Through a guided tour of the site and an interactive session using primary and secondary sources from the curriculum, learn new instructional strategies for bringing the diverse perspectives of women into your remote instruction.

We encourage teachers to read at least one of the life stories below in advance of the workshop:

Women & the American Story programs and resources are made possible through the generous support of Deutsche Bank, the Robert & Mercedes Eichholz Foundation, the Institute for Museum and Library Services, IBM, and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in New York.
