Día de Muertos 2021

Day of the Dead 2021

Public Programs
Sunday, Oct 31 2021 @ 12pm - 5pm

Day of the Dead in Mexico doesn’t mean to worship death, it means to celebrate life.

Our Day of the Dead festival will be hosted at Atlanta History Center Midtown on October 31st from 12–5pm. While the event is free and open to the public, capacity is limited, and advanced registration is required.

Visitors of all ages can experience an authentic Day of the Dead celebration as if they were in the streets of Mexico.  Enjoy traditional dancing, crafts, authentic Mexican food, and entertainment; immerse yourself in a stunning display of altars honoring family and friends who have passed; and sing to the sound of Mariachi.

Wear your favorite Day of the Dead costume and paint your face mask with skulls, skeletons, and cempasúchil flowers. For more information regarding this festival, please contact info@instituteofmexicanculture.org or informacionatl@sre.gob.mx.

Thank you for your interest in the Day of the Dead festival. All tickets have been claimed and there are no more tickets available.
