Georgia Perennial Plant Association: Steve Foltz, Perennials That Perform

Director of Horticulture at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Steve Foltz has been with the Zoo for 28 years and has a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Kentucky. He is an adjunct professor at both the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State. Steve is a member of the Ohio Plant Selection Committee, the Theodore Klein Plant Awards Committee in Kentucky, the Ohio Invasive Plant Council, and a board member of the International Plant Propagators Society.

Steve gives talks regularly, has written many articles for trade and gardening magazines, and is highly regarded for his depth of plant knowledge of everything from Angelonia to Zelkova.

In 2016, he received the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association's Distinguished Contribution Award.
