School Programs

The Atlanta History Center is one of the South’s premier resources for interdisciplinary and interactive education. School tours of our signature and traveling exhibitions, interactive programming, and curriculum resources are designed to highlight major themes in Georgia studies and U.S. history. Students are encouraged to explore the many diverse stories about the past while participating in hands-on study for all grade levels.

Guided School Tours Self-Guided School Tours


Engage students of all ages in history through a variety of fun and educational guided tours of our award-winning exhibitions, historic houses, and 33 acres of gardens. 


Guide your own class through exhibitions and take advantage of a free planning pass when registering for self-guided tours. 

Outreach Programs Homeschool Days


Bring history directly to your classroom through outreach educators and traveling history trunks.
