Members Guild


The Members Guild of the Atlanta History Center is a long-renowned, dynamic social and volunteer organization that supports the advancement of the Atlanta History Center through fundraising events and membership development. Guild members enjoy exclusive programming planned around a variety of interests and schedules, and educational opportunities that include invitations to major fundraising events and social functions, including major exhibition openings, as well as donor cultivation and recognition events. All Guild events are open to and appropriate for members of all ages and professions.

Members Guild Dues:  Active, $50; Contributing, $100
Current Atlanta History Center membership required.

Calendar of Events

• December 20, 2011: A special night at Holiday Spirit (previously Candlelight Nights) with the Members Guild

• Winter meeting (free to Guild members), Thursday, February 23, 2012: VP of Collections and Exhibitions Susan Neill will present a fascinating talk on some of the History Center’s textile collections.

• Spring luncheon, March TBD, 2012: The Guild will sponsor a luncheon featuring a prominent guest.  Previous speakers have included Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill and Sara Blakeley.

• Spring meeting, May 16, 2012: Enjoy a lovely luncheon on the Boxwood Porch of the Swan House, followed by a presentation about the gardens by Garden Director Travis Spilker.
