Letter from the President

Atlant History Center CEO - Salvatore G. Cilella, Jr.
As you browse through our site, you will quickly discover there’s something for everyone at our expansive 33 acre campus.  I invite you to explore our award-winning exhibitions, tour our historic houses, experience our midtown campus, stroll through our themed gardens, attend one of our lively lectures with Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, learn about history and culture through engaging programs, or bring the kids for a fun-filled day of interactive learning.

We will continue to strive to offer a diverse platform of adult, family, and children’s programming that appeal to our first-time and returning visitors. Last year, we lauched “From Civil War to Civil Rights,” a series of exhibitions focusing on two important eras in national history as well as Atlanta’s history - the American Civil War and the American Civil Rights Movement.

Be sure to visit our Website regularly for updates or sign up for our e-newsletter.

Thank you for visiting us online and we hope to see you soon at the Atlanta History Center.

Sincerely,

Salvatore G. Cilella, Jr.
