Kenan Research Center Field Trips

The Kenan Research Center houses the Atlanta History Center’s archives and special libraries collections. These school tours have been designed to familiarize students with research processes and resources for the study of Atlanta and Southern regional history and culture. Students explore historic photographs, prints, maps and architectural drawings, business records, private papers and documents, as well as microfilm rolls of newspapers, Atlanta city directories, and census records.
