Georgia Farmlife Program

 Tuesday – Friday; Grades K-8
Limit:  200 students
Duration:  2 – 2.5 hours

Experience farm life in the 1860s. Demonstrations by costumed interpreters, such as blacksmithing and open-hearth cooking, engage students as they learn about slavery and Civil War era life and culture.

Each Farm Life tour includes a docent-led exploration of the Tullie Smith farm house and outbuildings, skilled craft demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

The cost is $7 per student. Guided tours and Georgia Farm Life require one chaperone (admitted free) per 10 students.  Admission for each additional chaperone is $7.

This is an outdoor tour so please dress appropriately. In case of rain, some activities will be held indoors.  Please note that this tour is not completely wheelchair accessible.
