Isenberg Lecture: Drew Westen
Wednesday, April 29, 2009 8:00 PMProfessor and psychological researcher Drew Westen will discuss his book, The Political Brain, a ground-breaking investigation into the role of emotion in determining the political life of the nation. The Political Brain explains that understanding how the mind works can lead to different approaches in speaking to voters about issues such as abortion, guns, taxes, and race. You can’t change the structure of the brain, but you can change the way in which you appeal to it.
