Isabel Allende, Island Beneath the Sea: A Novel

From the sugar plantations of  turn of the 19th century Saint-Domingue to the lavish parlors of New Orleans, New York Times-bestselling author Isabel Allende’s latest novel tells the story of Zarité, a mulatta slave and concubine, who is determined to take control of her own destiny. 

Admission for all lectures is $5 for members, $10 for nonmembers, and FREE to Annual Fund donors unless otherwise noted.
