Through the Lens of Mundo Hispanico
Wednesday, September 16, 2009 - Sunday, January 03, 2010In collaboration with Mundo Hispanico, the Atlanta History Center presents the exhibition Through the Lens of Mundo Hispanico: Georgia's Hispanic Community.
Mundo Hispanico’s former publisher, Lino H. Dominguez, curates this exhibition showcasing photographs and selected newspapers that highlight the contributions of Hispanics to the city and Georgia including those of leaders in business, politics, and the arts. Visitors will also learn about the history of the community including the arrival of various national groups over the last 30 years, cultural differences within the Hispanic community, the accelerating growth of the Hispanic community, and contributions of Hispanics to Georgia.
